Canadian Immigration:

Economic Class programs include all the Canadian popular Permanent Residency program like Federal Skilled Worker, Canadian Experience Class or Skilled Trades.

Express Entry: It is an Immigration system created to select the best, top scores which is also called as Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) from a pool of many candidates who aspire to apply for Canadian Permanent Residency. The first step for most economic immigrants is to submit a profile under Express Entry. In the profile, the person receives ranking points based on their language ability, education, skills and experience. Every two weeks, the candidates with the most points are invited to apply for permanent residence. It is always better to get more points in order to remain high ranked candidate in the EE pool.

An ideal candidate who can get selected and receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) would be the person who has less age preferably less than 35 years, highest education as Master’s degree assessed by one of the IRCC designated organizations providing Education Credential Assessment report (ECA) and an excellent language ability obtained by appearing either the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) or The Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program (CELPIP). The score must be CLB 9 (The Canadian Language Benchmarks) where an individual must score listening 8 bands and above with remaining modules i.e. reading, writing and speaking scoring 7 bands and above in each. Any prospective candidate looking to apply for Permanent Residency programs must write General training or General test module for either of these accepted Language testing scores.

Provincial Nominee Program: Provinces (except Quebec) nominate the immigrants they would like, based on criteria they set that address their own needs. There are many provincial nominee programs that are popular in Canadian economic categories. Some of these programs are Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP), British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP), Nova Scotia Nomination Program (NSNP), Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP), Saskatchewan Immigrant Nomination Program (SINP) or Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP). Each provincial nominee program is unique and are governed by their respective provincial immigration government office who make constant changes to the requirement based on employer’s job demand, industries require critical workers, occupations which has immediate vacancies to fill and many more. Any candidate whose application is in the express entry pool and struggling to qualify, may under one of the PNP program to get nominated by the province. If the applications gets nominated by the province, the applicant has a fair chance of obtaining a Nomination Certificate and obtain 600 points under CRS system.

Quebec-Selected Skilled Workers: The Province of Quebec selects its own skilled workers.

Start-up Visa Program: Entrepreneurs with business ideas and the support of Canadian investors can become permanent residents and launch their business here or Provincial Entrepreneur or Investor programs

Caregiver Program: Individuals who have gained experience working in Canada providing in-home care to children, or people with high medical needs, can apply for permanent residence.

Through the Family Class, Canadian citizens and permanent residents can sponsor loved ones to join them in Canada. This includes spouses and common-law partners, dependent children, parents and grandparents.

Temporary Class Programs

These are those programs where individuals come to Canada to stay temporarily. You must leave Canada after your duration of stay provided by the IRCC or Canadian Visa offices abroad. There are many categories where a prospects applies to stay temporarily. An applicant can apply for Study permit to come to Canada for higher studies or college level programs or even schooling. Some may even apply for International Experience category by virtue of their citizenship of participating countries under youth exchange programs or young professionals, employer specific work permits or international mobility programs or visitor visa for either business, tourism or family visits.
